Community members and patients are welcome to join Dr. Adrianne Moen, Lakewood family medicine physician, for a weekly Walk With a Doc. The first few minutes are spent learning about a current health topic, and the rest of the hour is spent enjoying a healthy walk at your own pace and distance. It’s a great way to get some exercise, learn more about health, and meet new people. The group is free and open to everyone.
The group meets every Thursday, with the *first meeting of the month held at the Lakewood Care Center (401 Prairie Ave. NE – Staples) at 4:30 p.m. The remaining Thursdays of each month are held at Lakewood’s Main Campus (49725 Cty. 83 – Staples) at 5:15 p.m. Meet at the Main Entrance. All walks take place outside until/unless the weather does not allow. Then, walks take place indoors.
*Due to Minnesota weather, from October to April (or so), ALL Walk With a Doc groups throughout the month will meet at Lakewood’s Main Campus at 5:15 p.m.
